Welcome to Healing Loudly

My Name is Sarra!

I am a therapist (n.) Tour guide for emotions

Taking your first steps to heal can be difficult, but you are so brave for taking this leap. I am very appreciative that you are considering me to help you in your journey. Let me introduce you to a safe space where you can learn to heal through therapy. If you are interested in a free 15 minute consultation with me to explore if I will be a good match for you, click the “Free Consultation” button.

Healing Loudly is created based on the idea that survivors of abuse often suffer in silence. We understand that there are many different factors out of your control that impacts your ability to speak up about what happened to you. It’s hard to speak up about a topic when others have blamed you for what happened or maybe you even blame yourself.

This is a place where you don’t have to be silent about the abuse. We believe you and together we are healing loudly. Our role with you may look like helping you learn how to speak up for yourself, be compassionate to yourself, re-learn that the abuse isn’t your fault, and set boundaries with others in your life.

Let’s work towards you feeling more empowered in your life.

Healing from Past Abuse

Specialized Support for Survivors

Narcissistic Abuse

Being in a relationship with a narcissistic or emotionally manipulative person can leave you doubting your reality, questioning your worth, and feeling stuck in a cycle of confusion. We help survivors untangle the emotional and psychological impacts, rebuild self-trust, and break free from shame and gaslighting.

Trauma from Childhood

Early experiences shape how we see ourselves and relate to the world. Childhood trauma (whether it involved emotional neglect, abuse, or constant instability) can leave lasting impacts. Together, we’ll explore those roots with care and work toward healing the parts of you that had to grow up too fast.

Sexual Trauma

Sexual trauma can impact every part of your life and from your sense of safety to your connection with your own body. We offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space to help you process, reclaim your voice, and reconnect with yourself on your terms. Healing doesn’t have to be rushed. You get to lead the pace.

PTSD & Complex Trauma

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder can feel like the past is constantly intruding on the present. Whether you experience flashbacks, avoidance, or hyper-vigilance, We help you understand your symptoms, learn grounding techniques, and gently reprocess trauma in a way that helps you feel more in control.

Emotional Trauma

Emotional wounds don’t always come with visible scars, but they can run deep (especially when you’ve been dismissed, invalidated, or chronically overwhelmed). We work with clients to name and process these experiences while building tools for emotional regulation and self-compassion.

Abuse in Relationships

Abuse doesn’t just happen physically, it can be emotional, verbal, psychological, or sexual. We work with survivors to safely process their experiences, recognize harmful patterns, and build the self-worth and boundaries needed to heal and move forward in healthier ways.

How Do I Know If I Experienced Trauma?

A traumatic event can be a natural disaster, someone having sex with you even though you didn’t want to, a past relationship that deeply upsets you, etc. Going through something traumatic can have a long-term impact on your life. Unfortunately, it is not “just one bad day” or an event that is easy to “get over.” Indicators you have been through something traumatic are you:

  • Can’t stop thinking about what happened

  • Scared by loud noises and feel jumpy

  • Feel very protective

  • Experience intense emotions when something reminds you about what happened

Though therapy, we can take steps towards you overcoming how your experiences impact you. Embrace the journey of healing loudly. Let's work together to navigate through sexual trauma, self-esteem, relationship issues, and boost your confidence. Together, we can navigate through the maze of healing and self-discovery. You deserve this moment of care and compassion.
